Last week, Roland at little dog lost tagged me in the blog version of a chain letter, which asks each blogger to share seven unknown things about themselves and then, in kind fashion, share the fun (or pain depending on who you ask) with seven more bloggers, of course! Being the good sport that I am, I decided to play along.
The Rules
- Link back to the person who tagged you.
- Share 7 random or weird facts about yourself.
- Tag 7 people at the end of your post, and include links to their blogs.
- Let each person know they’ve been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog or emailing them.
Here we go…
Seven Random or Weird Facts About Me
- I have a funny little pointy spot under my chin from a scar that I got from flying off the hood of a car in high school and slamming my chin on the concrete…for real, totally stunt person style. Don’t ask about the details…long story. I told my Mom that I tripped over a parking block, and she believed me. The things we do as teenagers. {Sigh.}
- I can’t go to sleep at night with the closet door(s) open. Call it my interior design background or bad feng-shui, call it being scared of the closet boogie man, who knows. But I just can’t fall asleep without them being closed.
- I am really big on smells. I love things that smell good, i.e. cologne, perfume, and of course food. Many times, I will ask people if I can just smell their food. Especially chocolate chip cookies. I just want to smell them. I also love the smell of beer, but hate the taste of most.
- I have a soft spot for “old people.” I see them at the grocery store, walking along the sidewalk, etc and I always want to help them. Maybe it is because every little, frail, slightly bent over, white haired woman reminds me of my Grandma and every little old man, with a baseball hat and plaid pants reminds me of my Grandpa, who are both no longer “in the physical form.” The movie The Notebook tears me up.
- I HATE scary movies. I won’t watch them anymore. They give me bad dreams and may be feeding into number 2 above…
- I save “good” bags. Sometimes I am not sure which excites me more, going to a cool store and getting a great pair of jeans, or the really nice bag that they come in. SCORE. Ryan despises this weird fact over all others. He is NOT a bag saver. I have a hidden stash saved for special occasions, when “nice” bags are necessary.
- When I was younger I didn’t know how to cook. My specialty was spaghetti. I also knew how to make pb and j, or….mac and cheese. That is pretty much it. Ryan was the one who introduced me to the cooking world beyond Hamburger Helper. The first meal he ever made for me was Chicken Parmesan. The meal was amazing, but I hardly noticed, as I was much more interested in the chef.
There ya have it. My seven tagged peeps are below, but just be be clear, if it’s not your thing, no worries and no hard feelings. Nothing bad will happen if you don’t play along. There’s no bad luck associated with this chain letter, just a fun way to get to know people and open up a little.

you KNOW it just might be time for me to share some MizFit SNOOOOZE.
I wish I had 7 little known or exciting info or traits.
will ponder and already know I cant top your fondness for smells and old people
1-You suck for tagging me. I have no choice but to participate because I am a weirdo who fears virtual chain letters due to a tragedy in the 6th grade that I shall not repeat.
2-That bag thing is a new level of precious.
Nice of you to share…thank you! I will check out the other bloggers!
Luring you with food? I like your husband already.
