Yep, you read correctly, how would you like to be able to tweet your way to weight-loss, for all of your Twitter followers to see?
You can do just that, with the WiFi Body Scale, designed to auto-tweet your weight every time you weigh in, along with the number of pounds that you need to gain or lose in order to reach your goal weight. (See demo tweet set-up here)
This new version of the scale, hitting the market at $159.99, is actually an enhanced version. Previously you could only record your weight data and track it through an iPhone app.
So what do you think? Would tweeting your weigh-in progress help to keep you on track to achieving your body-image goal(s)?

This is one of those fine line situations/items that I think people will either love or hate. Personally, the people that follow me on Twitter are actual friends and I like to think they would be supportive. Even if they are not supportive (in a joking or serious manner) that is probably the kick in the ass I need to get back into the workouts/eating if I were slipping.
All things considered I think this is a great idea and I am all about it. Letting my Twitter followers help keep my on point is a good thing. Also, I like that there is a tracking app for the iPhone, very convenient for me.
Hmm…I think this product demonstrates the extreme lengths people go to these days to over-share. I think it’s cool to share your workout plan, your latest run data, your healthy or delicious meal recipe, etc. But I think that tweeting your weight is sort of obsessive-compulsive. It’s still just a number…what matters to me is how I feel and how my jeans fit
Interesting. I don’t think I’d be down with that. I will tweet if I have losses because people like to congratulate and all, but I don’t think my weight needs to go up every time I weigh myself.
