Just wanted to give you an update on how my 25-Days of Clean Eating and my 25-Days of Self-Appreciation is going. I made this video last night before we left for holiday party #2.
An Update On My Update
The party was so much fun. I instilled the “one bite” method for the foods that I wanted to try, but not eat the whole thing. There was food everywhere, many tapas (small plate items) stations-style, so it was easy to fill up on the grilled veggies and grilled meat skewers. I had a bite of a bbq pizza square, a bite of Ryan’s carne asada taco (which was amazing), a little shot shooter of butternut squash soup (incredible), and a bite of a chocolate pecan… bar? I’m not sure what it was, but it was good. I also had two POM and vodkas, with a squeeze of lime.
Overall, I am really happy with how I did, considering there was a dessert table with everything from mini carrot cake cupcakes, to red velevet cake, to cheesecake… and more. And I could have definitely ate more of the bbq pizza, soup, and the tacos mentioned above! But I was able to instead, taste a few select foods and enjoy them, without overdoing it.
