Guest Article Submission Guidelines
Thank you for your interest in being featured on LiveWell360.com. These editorial guidelines are designed to help you understand what we accept and don’t accept for inclusion on the site. Before you submit to our site, we would appreciate if you would please read this page first.
- The submission must be an original article that you wrote.
- Article topics should be relating to one of the following categories:
- Fitness
- Nutrition
- Mind and Spirit
- Recipes
- Fat Loss
- The article must be informative and share your unique expertise. Include tips, strategies, techniques, case-studies, analysis, opinions and commentary in your articles. Please refrain from focusing the bulk of the story on personal experience, unless you are submitting an article written on the specific topic of your journey to your best life.
- The article cannot be a sales letter or include blatant and excessive self-promotion. We will include a bio, headshot, and link to your site at the bottom of the article (see details below).
- The article must have proper English, spelling, grammar, punctuation, capitalization and sentence structure. Please double check and proofread for accuracy.
- The article must be a minimum of 250 words and no more than 5,000 words. For us, an ideal article size is 400-750 words.
- Recipes: We are accepting recipes that focus on whole food ingredients, and will not be featuring recipes that contain highly refined ingredients and artificial sweeteners. If you are submitting a recipe, please structure the layout of the recipe according to this format. Please include a bulleted list of ingredients, in order from first used to last, step-by-step directions on how to make the recipe, and nutritional information (total calories, fat, protein, carbs, fiber) based on the serving size. Also be sure to include the total number of servings that the recipe will make. Professional looking pictures will help in getting your submission accepted. Send .jpg photos with submission as an attachment, sized to 500×333 pixels. Please use your judgement and send only your best pictures.
- Keywords: Adding the top keywords related to your article helps us to bring more traffic to your article.
- Please make sure you put a comma between each keyword and phrase.
- Ideally, your keywords should be optimized based on the most commonly searched keywords for your particular niche. It helps to use a good keyword research tool to help you determine which ones are best to use.
- You should have a minimum of 4-5 keywords and a maximum of 15.
- We do not accept keywords that are completely unrelated to the content of your article.
- Summary: The purpose of the article summary is to give an abstract or summary of the benefits that your article delivers. Every article must have a 2-5 sentence article summary, which should not exceed 200 words.
- Bio: Please include a short biography (written in the third person perspective), explaining your background and expertise, making sure to include any accomplishments, accolades, and accreditations. Also include a headshot .jpg and link to your website or contact info if you would like this included as well. We highly recommend including a link to your website but do not advocate including a mailto: or email link to your personal or work email account. Spammers will abuse it. It’s better to include a valid website URL and let potential customers find your email address on your website.
- Email article submission as a Microsoft Word document with any related .jpg photos (sized to 500×333 pixels) to info (at) livewell360 (dot) com with the subject title: Article Submission.
- We will send you an email notifying you if your article has been accepted. Please allow 1-2 weeks for us to respond before checking back with us on the status.
