I remember the first time I heard about the “raw food diet”, or eating raw foods in general. The first thing that came to mind was a bunch of raw, crunchy carrot sticks, hard to eat broccoli florets, and raw fish (up until just recently I wanted nothing to do with sushi). This whole idea of eating only raw food was not at ALL appealing to me, and in fact I remember thinking, “No way man. I am NEVER going to try that. I am a meat, cheese, and bread kind of girl.”
