Ryan and Sheila Viers took a step in this movement and decided the classic “gym bag” needed a once-over and wanted to bring style and quality to a new level. No fashion faux pas ahead.
The Goodz
First, I have to take a moment and brag on my former clients. I worked with both Ryan and Sheila and I will grab any opportunity to take credit for the smallest of effect I have had on their lives.
They are awesome people and put everything into their product. Yes, I am bias and this is a bias review, but I will do the best I can to (after this) provide the facts only.
The Core stats are: Carry-on size: 21″ length x 9″ width x 13″ height. It has tons of separate compartments, zippers, and special places to store everything. When I was a kid it would have been a dream and I would have packed and unpacked every one of those little compartments until my heart was content. Truth be told, I still get a kick out of packing a bag up for something, especially the gym.
One of the unique features is a storage section that is separate from the rest of the bag. If you have wet/dirty clothes they can sit in a separate area from your clean items. No more ziplock bags or grocery store sack madness; just throw and go. I tested it out and you can clean it easily, and there is enough room for a whole gym outfit, including shoes or stinky vibrams.
This bag is top of the line. Quality is apparent from the zippers to the strap clips. At the same time, it isn’t fragile because it is stylish. You aren’t afraid to get it dirty; it is made for it. You aren’t afraid to rough it up; it can take it. There are some people who see no reason to invest in a bag like that. It begs the question “Spend more now, to save more in the long run?” It is a personal choice. Myself, I plan on using this bag for my personal gym workouts and I am sure it will last me years to come.
Who is it for?
Anyone.
It comes down to style, taste, and quality level. I acknowledge there are people who could care less about what they carry to the gym, but for those that do, I think you will find real quality here.
Bottom Line
This is a premium cost product, so expect it to punch you in the face. I can say the material is quality and when you get it, you get the reason for the price point. Sheila and Ryan are not a huge department store and the markup is pretty low. I put my money on this bag being featured in magazines within the next few months. Heard it here first.

The Core is nothing like a traditional duffel bag. It doesn’t even look like a gym bag with its gray color, nice thick strap and interesting, easy to carry shape. I purchased the Core bag for myself a few months ago and I use it for EVERYTHING. I take it to school, to work, I pack my workout and running clothes in it, and I have taken it on planes and on weekend trips. It’s amazing. It has so many pockets inside the bags. And then there are pockets inside the pockets, which I love! The pockets are all lined inside, which gives a little added protection and feels nice too!
I am obsessed with the size of the bag and the print inside. It’s so fun! Another great thing about the Core is the side compartment which can be used to store sneakers (or dirty clothes). It is isolated to keep them from getting the rest of the bag dirty/smelly and it has a little vent too. I also love the thick straps and silver hardware. But, my all time favorite thing about the bag is how comfortable it is. I love how it sits on the small of my back when I wear it. I don’t even know its there!

I love my Core bag. It’s great that you can separate small items like jewelry and put them in the fleece lined, zipped pocket and also that you can put your shoes in the separate compartment so they don’t touch your clothes or other things, etc. I have taken it coast to coast and it fits in the overhead just great. Also it’s the only bag I have that doesn’t kill my shoulder while sprinting across the airport to make a connection…and it looks even more expensive than it is.

I love this bag. I love the shape – it’s feminine without being “girly”. The bag has just enough structure to make packing and unpacking really easy. The high quality of the construction is instantly noticeable. While it appears slightly smaller than many gym bags, it actually holds more than bags that I have owned that look larger. I especially like the separate shoe storage area. I take this bag to the gym, to yoga class, and have even taken it on overnight trips. I have the Core 2010 bag. I absolutely love it! It has plenty of space for all of my things and plenty of separate compartments. I especially love the fleece lined interior compartment where I keep all of my jewelry during my workouts! I also play in various soccer leagues and the vented compartment is great for my cleats and shin guards which are pretty gross after games. While this bag is more expensive than most gym bags, it is definitely worth the cost — especially if you consider the fact that buying multiple cheap bags gets you no where!

This bag is wonderful! There is a pocket for everything. One of the pockets is lined with fuzzy material so that I don’t scratch my iPod and there are two zippers so that right or left handed people can use the bag equally easily. The separate shoe compartment was what made me want to buy this bag. I use this bag as a standalone gym bag and am so impressed by it that I will be ordering the Luxx in the new year as a treat to myself.

It is a great overall gym bag, I really love the simplicity of the design, and overall look of clean lines, it does not look like it has a lot going on and is not bulky. It is also very versatile to take on a plane or as an overnight bag.
The interior is great as well, the interior pockets are very useful, for jewelry and putting my ipod, lock, keys and gympass all within the first zippered compartment. I love the large interior zip pocket as it allows me to store things like my gloves and skipping rope. The large interior is perfect for holding my towel and purse if need be and water bottle (love the new feature of the {Core 2011} with the mesh pocket wish it was in mine!). Also, love the compartment for shoe storage — a great idea and once shoes are inside it does allow room for other items. Only complaint is my key holder ribbon got caught on the outside zipper and it was very difficult to get it out, causing me to have to cut it off and re-sew the end back on to the ribbon. Other than that, I have been satisfied since day one! If I could I would love to purchase the new one in the gorgeous purple colour. Congrats and keep the updates coming. Love my Core.

The Core is a must have gym bag! It’s versatile and functional. I love all of the pockets that make “where I am I going to put this?” questions a no brainer. The extra shoe compartment is pure genius. I practice bikram and use the extra space to put my wet clothes. It’s a lifesaver! I recently purchased this fitness bag and have found it very useful for my fitness needs. I like how it has the inside material with lots of inspirational words. That helps me keep focused on my fitness and all the good things I’m doing for my health and wellness. It has a nice velvet type compartment for my jewelry, watch and glasses so now I don’t have to try and find my nicer items on the bottom of my bag. It’s roomy yet not too big that it feels awkward when carried it on my shoulder. It’s also easy to clean, just a damp clothes cleans it right up. I like all the zipper compartments and the place to put my shoes or wet towel because it has an air vent to help prevent odors.

I am simply in love with this bag! I started out using it as only a gym bag, but soon found that it is an amazing carry on for vacation.
My favorite features are:
- The extremely comfortable adjustable straps (it works for lefty’s or righty’s).
- The extra zip compartment for shoes or dirty clothes.
- The sturdiness, I never feel like my things aren’t safe in it.
I think the most surprising thing to me is how spacious inside it is, without taking up a lot of width. I seriously feel like it is Mary Poppins bag.

I do not typically take the time to post a product review but I love this bag so much that I wanted to let others know. This bag is extremely well made and looks amazing. I love the separate compartment and use it to carry my swimsuit and flip flops to the gym. It is not cheap, but I feel like it is worth the price. It has so many well thought out features that have been put into it. There are little compartments for everything – ipod, phone, keys and even a little velvet lined pouch for jewelry. I have received several comments from people at the gym about how nice the bag is. It really stands out. I have looked for a bag that was functional and also looked stylish. This bag definitely fits the bill. I will use it as a carry on bag when I travel and it is the perfect size. I would give this bag more than 5 stars if I could!

In case you are in need of a gym bag, the PERFECT gym bag, look no further! The Core by Live Well 360 is it!
The bag was designed with an incredible amount of thought put into every little detail, even the little cardboard hang tag. I mainly use mine as a carry-on bag for airline travel–it fits so conveniently under the seat in front of me.
A few key points about this bag that make it so functional are the little holes in the top zipper pulls that allow me to use an airline-approved lock to keep my belongings secure. Also, I love the series of little individual zipped pockets inside that allow me to sort my iPod, wallet, jewelry, etc. and keep them handy. There’s even a velour lined pocket for this so nothing gets scratched! The shoe compartment is fabulous because it allows me to keep a pair of sandals/heels/flip flops in there while I wear running shoes for the plane for ease of moving through airports and for comfort. Plus, I have to say I’m a basics girl so the steel gray color with black/red/white accents is perfect, it will go with anything!
So, if you are considering getting your very own Live Well 360 bag, I know you won’t be disappointed!!

As an individual that bases my daily activities around health and wellness, I have lived out of a gym bag for years. I have never been completely satisfied with a bag, it’s compartments, material, construction, etc. The Core is absolutely the best purchase I have made all year. I love it so much that I’ve used it as not only my gym bag, but my office bag (it is super stylish and complements business attire), carry-on luggage, beach bag (the inner lining is easy to manipulate in order to get the sand out), and it easily holds all of the produce I buy at the farmers market. The shoulder strap is comfortable even when the bag is full of heavy items. Huge plus: a separate shoe compartment and a pocket that my iPad slides right into. Best bag on the market!

I conducted an exhaustive search for a gym bag that: looks good, allows me to spend less time digging around for things, and has functional pockets and a shoe storage. I stumbled upon a giveaway from Fit Bottomed Girls that I entered (I didn’t win) and although the price point was a bit more than I wanted to spend, I couldn’t stop thinking about this bag! I’ve been using my bag since June and I love it–the only thing I wish I had were handles, but someday I might upgrade to a model that has them.

I love my Core bag because it keeps me organized. I have a space for jewelry and my iPod and brushes. I know where everything is… always. One good thing, as my bag tends to get heavy as I really fill it, is the strap. The wideness makes it comfortable to carry even when it’s maxed out. And I like the look of the bag as it’s not too ‘girly’ or too ‘male’– I like the androgynous nature of it.

I wanted to drop you a line that I just got my {Eggplant Purple Core 2011} bag and was very pleased. It was much bigger than I thought and I especially like the fuzzy lining in the pockets inside. Much nicer on the hands when you are searching for those keys or to protect your phone’s screen. It has ample room for all my workout stuff and it looks very fashionable. The extra pocket on this side for shoes, or in my case, it will be used more for my wet swimsuit after water aerobics, is really a great extra.

The quality of the Accel is outstanding, and the functionality is far superior to most of the other bags I’ve seen. Instead of thinking, “What should go in this pocket?”, the compartments naturally lend themselves to an easy way to organize! Unlike with most bags, I’m also never worried about fraying, ripping, fading — all the common concerns from other fitness bags I’ve used. I like my nice things to stay in great condition, and I’m guilty of keeping a bag on the shelf so that it stays looking brand-new. I don’t have that problem with the Accel. It always looks pristine, despite frequent (and sometimes not careful!) usage.

The Accel is a smaller bag to the original Core. I have used this bag twice as a carry-on bag when traveling. It held all of my electronics (iPad, camera, cables, phone). It has a special pocket that is padded for the iPad or small netbook and Kindle, and a divider that is in place with velcro to have two compartments in the main section of the bag. Nicely done to organized all my travel stuff. It fits underneath the seat in front of me on a plane along with my purse. No need to use the overhead bin. It has pockets on the outside to hold a water bottle and I used one for my sunglasses case. Just the perfect little bag with vast amounts of space for traveling.
Both bags are made with high quality materials. Strong and can take abuse when traveling on a plane. Love that I can remove the yoga mat straps if not needed. Arrange the carry straps to my liking.

The Accel has been my companion for a short while, and I am also an owner of the Core. While the Core has been the fitness bag of my life, the Accel has accompanied me in so many amazing ways. The yoga straps have served to carry my beach towel, snorkel and fins, and I also string the straps through my peep toe high heel and tennis shoes when I hit the gym (but I’m mostly at the beach). The optional compartment divider allows me to carry either food on one side and clothes on the other, or sometimes I removed it completely to place large items like 2 liter bottles of water for hiking trips. Might I add that I have never taken anything but a backpack to hike, but now that I have the Accel I love that it holds tight to my body and fits a plethora of hiking gear!
My iPad fits snuggly into the rear compartment, and the front pockets hold my important items. The inside zip pockets (there are four) allow me to keep smaller items separate and organized (I like to keep dangly earrings away from my iPod earbuds cord) and the inside mesh slip pockets are a perfect place for my sunglasses. I get compliments on the color of my (eggplant purple) Accel everywhere I go, and it’s perfect for the beach, as an overnight bag, and for going with me to the gym and work daily.
I’m overly satisfied with the design, flexibility, and durability of this bag, and coming from a person with chronic buyers’ remorse, this carries a lot of weight (just like the Accel does!). I am a happy owner of the Accel, and won’t ever go back to using a standardized “sport namebrand” gym bag ever again and I can tell that Live Well 360 did a lot of research on this bag before developing it. It feels like they took everything into consideration during the design phase, and I am confident that all of my needs have been met.
Call me crazy, but I get excited by finding new ways to keep myself organized and by finding new uses for the different options the bag offers (inside compartments, yoga mat straps, etc). I really adore this bag and am proud to be an ambassador of the Accel. I cannot thank Live Well 360 enough for allowing me to live well through the use of their products!

The Luxx is a great larger sized bag to the original Core. It has vast amounts of space and pockets for all things needed when taking a weekend get-a-way somewhere. Recently used it to do just that when our air conditioner went out. It held everything for an overnight, room in the padded compartment made for a laptop/iPad (it held both), all of my toiletries, extra shoes in the special shoe compartment, change of clothes, travel pillow. The padded shoulder strap fit nicely on my shoulder for ease of transfer from car to hotel room.

Thanks for the great bag. I took it with me to Fiji for two weeks, island hopping and busing around the main island. For a few days it was the only bag I was traveling with and I was able to pack everything I needed: a couple days of clothes, my camera, laptop and gifts that I had picked up at the market.
I also started going back to the gym again since my trip and use it to pack my work clothes and shoes, plus some toiletries so I can workout and go straight to work. The Luxx has been a great bag and I’m looking forward to riding my bike to work with it, instead of driving.
