Gym Prep Tips and Tricks

Buy an extra set of your hair care and skincare products, make-up, shampoo and conditioner so that you can have one set at home and one set in your gym bag. This way, you’ll never forget any of these things because they never leave your bag. Pack your bag from bottom to top. For example, when packing the Luxx, Backpack, or the Core, first put your shoes in the shoe compartment. Then organize your unmentionables, jewelry, and other smaller items in the smaller interior zip pockets. Then add hair care, skincare, and make-up, placing the tall bottles into the interior mesh slip pocket and long interior zip pocket. Now, neatly fold your towel, washcloth, and clothing and stack them inside the bag. Put your phone, headphones, and reading material/workout log into the easy access front (and back, on the Luxx) zip compartments on the bag. Place keys on the key lanyard, and you are ready to go! Now, when it’s time to find what you need, you know exactly where to look.
  • No more searching for things all over inside a giant cavern of a bag, with everything getting thrown together.
  • No more carrying (and then forgetting) your shoes because there’s no good place to put them.
  • No more having your undies fly across the counter when you reach into your bag and pull out your gym ID card to hand the front desk associate…
Place your gym bag in front of your door at home so that when you get up in the AM, you’ll be sure not to leave the house without it. Leave a note on it to remind you to grab your lunch or pre-workout shake from the fridge. Did we miss anything? Leave us a comment and share your must-haves and tips below!
